Port Forwarding Guide
For automatic port forwarding try Simple Port Forwarding

Step 1.

Some routers & modems work best with port forwarding if you have a static local IP.
Manually set your network interface card ( NIC ) to use a static ip address.
You can also download my FREE Simple Static IP tool to set it for you.

Step 2.

Open your favorite web browser and input your routers ip address in the address bar.
Please note that you must have the http:// in order to connect to your router/modem properly.

Step 3.

Once logged into the router, click the 'Virtual Server' link on the left of the page.

Step 4.

For 'Public Port-Start' enter a port number for the port you want to forward.

For 'Public Port-End' enter the last port you want to forward.

Example: To forward a range (3000-3300) Port-Start:3000 Port-End: 3300 OR To forward one port (3300) Port-Start:3300 Port-End:3300.

For 'Private Port' Enter the port you want to forward.

For 'Port Type' select the protocol you want.

For 'Host IP Address' Enter the IP address of the computer you want to forward the port to.

When finished click the 'Add This Setting' button.

Repeat Step 4 to add more rules.

When finished click 'Save Settings / Reboot' Link on the left.
